I want to hold on to summer as long as possible! But I also do acknowledge that fall is almost here (or it is here) and that means big schedule changes for many. Here are some things to help keep you grounded this fall:
1. Insulated Lunch Tote
It’s 2025 and a lunch box just doesn’t cut it anymore with our protein goals. Most of the teachers and healthcare workers I work with pack more than one meal and snack with them for the work day and a big, insulated lunch tote is the best way to carry everything around.
2. BBQ Chicken Salad by Eating Bird Food
This recipe would be a perfect recipe to prep out ahead of time and bring to work for lunch. It’s high in protein, tasty and doesn’t involve much prep work.
3. Somatic Exercises
Somatic exercises are really gentle movements that help relax the nervous system and release stress in the body. The sessions are all 10-20 minutes are require minimal effort. This 30 day program is great for people who:
- Have lots of muscle tension or body pains
- Feel stuck in fight or flight
- Don’t have the time for longer meditation/nervous system programs
- Have trouble sleeping or staying asleep
- Want something they can do in bed or on the couch
