My 3 Favorite Things from February & March 2026

March 25, 2026

I’ve come to terms and accepted so many of my chronic health “things,” but every once in a while, something will come up that really knocks me down emotionally and physically. In this case, it literally did knock me down.

In a pretty easy workout class, I hurt my lower back. I’ve hurt it many times before, but I knew this time was way more serious. I could hardly walk out of the studio I was in so much pain.

I want to share a little bit about what happened with you in case it resonates with you, if you have ever or are currently dealing with a health flare or scare.

February/March Favorites:

1. Healing Rose Lip Balm

I restocked on my favorite lip balm ever. I will not rest until everyone knows about this lip balm! It actually heals your lips, is made by a small, woman-owned business, and has clean ingredients.

Pro tip: if you are prone to muscle tension, especially in the neck/shoulder area, their extra-strength CBD balm works like MAGIC. I use it on my tight neck/shoulders to prevent headaches.

2. Humidifier

It’s cold and so dry in the winter. If you’re prone to dry skin, bloody noses in the winter, or stuffiness, try a humidifier when you sleep. I like this one that monitors the humidity to make sure it doesn’t get too humid (this could lead to mold growth)

3. Lentil Soup by The Kitchn

It’s still very much soup season! I wanted an easy recipe that felt very nourishing. A lentil soup with warming spices felt perfect! I also added ginger for a little warming kick.
