Makes about 14-18 bites
Recipe adapted from Mountain Rose Herbs
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips
- 3 tbsp organic cacao powder
- 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 Tbsp. organic ashwagandha powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp. fresh grated ginger
- 1 tsp. cardamon powder
- 1 tsp. nutmeg powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: hemp seeds or coconut flakes for topping
Instructions
- Add tahini, almond butter, and honey into a medium bowl and mix until smooth
- Add herb powders and cacao powder and mix until smooth
- Add vanilla extract, hemp seeds, grated ginger, and chocolate chips, and mix
- Add more cacao powder or chocolate chips as needed
- Once the dough is thick enough to hold its shape, roll into 1-inch balls
- Optional: roll balls in hemp seed or coconut flakes
- Store balls in a sealed contained in the freezer or refrigerator
