Happy Thanksgiving!
Here’s a round-up of some of my favorite gluten- and dairy-free Thanksgiving recipes! This isn’t a full Thanksgiving menu, but provides some delicious and healthy options that you can make for Thanksgiving or bring to any holiday party.
Appetizer
Gut-healthy veggie board
These veggie boards are totally customizable to fit your dietary needs. It’s also a great idea to eat fibrous veggies before a big meal to balance blood sugar. Plus, they look amazing and will wow any guest or host!
Deviled Eggs
Deviled eggs are a classic appetizer and for good reason! They are delicious and high in protein and can be easily made ahead of time.
Stuffing
If you need a gluten-free stuffing but hate gluten-free bread, try out my grandma’s rice stuffing recipe! It’s very flavorful and isn’t as heavy as traditional stuffing.
Sides
There are so many sides I like! Here are some of my favorite vegetable sides
Brussels sprouts with grapes and walnuts
Tahini Cauliflower
Simple Green Salad (dairy-free option)
Desserts
Baking without gluten or dairy can be really tricky! I often opt for pre-made pie crusts or order from a gluten-free bakery to save time and frustration. If I do want to bake something, I choose a crisp that can easily be made with oats.
